Junior Accountant for Established Manufacturing Firm
About the Company
Our client is an established manufacturing firm responsible for chemical production
They are seeking a Junior Accountant to join their robust team. The role is created due to growth of the firm
The firm has been around for over 100 years and have three locations nationwide
The firm is a fun and diverse team. They are looking to bring someone on who they can train and interested in growing their career
This role is located in Kearny, New Jersey and will be in office full-time
The company has a 100% approval rating of the CEO and employee reviews include: "Great training and initiation into role with ongoing support from senior management "
Responsibilities of the Junior Accountant will include:
Working on accounts payable and accounts receivable
Assisting with month end close activities, income statement account analysis and balance sheet reconciliations
Supporting the Accounting Manager as needed
Qualifications of the Junior Accountant:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Up to a year of accounting experience or office work with exposure to accounting including internship
Tech savvy with strong Excel skills
