The Company

Located in the Parramatta CBD this Australian retail organisation are expanding and with continued growth forecasted over the next few years, they are in an enviable position to become a market leader. They have a current need to add an Accounts Receivable expert to their team, this newly created role could consider either Full Time or Part time hours

The Position

This newly created role will report directly to the Finance Manager. It is not your typical AR role, as there is NO COLLECTIONS or Credit checks involved. You will get the opportunity to take control and call the role your own. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Submitting claims batches via electronic portal
• Investigating rejected and aged claims, including guiding operations on correct procedure
• Following up on other outstanding third-party funding debts (ie NDIS)
• Assist with reconciliation of received payments to POS entries
• Identify opportunities to streamline current processes
• Complete month-end debtors reconciliation

The Candidate

To be the successful candidate you will possess solid previous Accounts Receivable experience ideally having worked in retail, healthcare or aged care industries. You will be process driven and detail oriented and be able to work autonomously. Intermediate excel skills required. You will have solid communication skills both written and verbal.
