Accounts Payable Manager (Construction Industry Experience)

Role and Responsibilities

Growing Enterprise located near Roselle, IL is looking for an enthusiastic, organized, and detail minded team member to join our company. We are looking for an individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills to follow through with assignments and internal team members. In addition, a self‐starter with a willingness to follow directions and prioritize tasks and lead a department of 10 + Accounts Payable Specialists. Duties include hiring, training, and coaching a staff. This team oversees 3 + central email inboxes for supplier communication. This role will be responsible for preparing ad-hoc reports as requested by leadership. This role will work closely with project teams to analyze project costs and assist with documentation for month-end and year-end audit.

Accounts Payable Manager (Construction Industry Experience)

Qualifications:

• College Education - Associates Degree or above preferred
• 5+ years of Accounts Payable Experience - Required
• Experience leading an Accounts Payable Team
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Strong Computer Experience, MS Office Suite & Comprehensive Accounting System
• Experience with some general ledger accounting - Preferred
• Experience using EDI for supplier invoices and data entry

Skills:

• Strong communication skills
• Ability and experience coaching and mentoring a team in Accounts Payable Department
• Organized, self-starter who enjoys leading and inspiring a team
• Strong Computer experience, Microsoft Office Suite, Experience working with a large ERP, similar to SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite

Work Setting: Hybrid -- 3 Days in Office / 2 Days at Home - per week

Annual Cash Compensation: $ 90,000 ~ $ 120,000
