- Monitor the accuracy and timely processing of vouchers.
- Review, code and post invoices to the GL.
- Coordinate weekly payment processes, involving checks and/or wire payments.
- Communicate with vendors and resolving inquiries.
- Prepare payable check requests to ensure timeliness and accuracy of payments and acquiring proper documentation.
- Research and resolve issues that business lines have regarding the posting of expenses to their respective areas.
- Thorough understanding of accrual process.
Education & Background of Junior Accountant
- 2-5 years of experience in accounts payable.
- Associates degree required/Bachelor's degree is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
