*MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT - JOHANNESBURG*

An opportunity is here for a seasoned management accountant to join one of the top companies in the finance space. The successful incumbent will support the financial strategy by developing and maintaining the financial forecast mode, lead the financial reporting and overall perform the financial functions to ensure the success of the company.
*Responsibility and duties: *

* *Budget and financial forecast management *
* Developing the financial forecast model by identifying and integrating key metrics, inputting, and developing scenarios, testing sensitivities, and presenting the financial implications to support strategic and financial planning annually
* Developing the ongoing forecasts by reviewing existing data
* Analysing financial data in line with the forecast model by reviewing performance against key business performance metrics

* *Management accounting *
* Preparing monthly financial packs by preparing reports (trial balances, intercompany schedule, tax calculation etc)
* Preparing monthly expenses variance reports by gathering information, analysing, and identifying variances and submitting for review.
*
* *Financial modelling *
* Developing financial models by understanding the requirements, developing the models to test potential strategic decision and business opportunity
* Developing financial indicators by reviewing the models
*
* *Reporting *
* Creating reports as required buy receiving report requirements, compiling information, analysing trends and patterns, reviewing information for accuracy
*
* *Financial reporting *
* Developing financial reports
* Validating tax and statutory reports
* Responding to audit queries
* Preparing the AFS by collecting and collating the information, preparing the commentary, reviewing the accuracy, and submitting for approval annually.
* *
*Qualifications:*

* CA/CIMA require
* Quick consols or similar reporting tool experience
* 5 years' experience in financial services
* 2 years' experience in financial modelling
* 3 years' experience in management accounting
