Senior Accountant with excellent communication skills required for an innovative and passionate accounting firm who have a strong work life balance
Our client is an innovative and energetic accounting practice based in the northern suburbs who have a strong emphasis on work-life balance and giving their employees the opportunity to grow in their career. Due to the complexity of their clients and an increase in workflow this firm now needs a switched on accountant to take on a new challenge.
They currently have a vacancy for a passionate and energetic senior accountant with a minimum of 5 years business services experience to manage a broad range of clients.

The Opportunity
- Preparing financial statements for all entities including companies, partnerships and trusts
- Preparing tax returns for the above entities as well as individuals
- Preparing and lodging Business Activity Statements and Instalment Activity Statements
- Fostering key relationships to develop clients and Business for the firm
- Assisting your portfolio of clients with their accounting requirements
- Providing technical advice and adding value to your client portfolio
Ideally you will:
- Be studying towards or completed CA or CPA
- Have a minimum 5 years work experience within an Australian public practice
- Have excellent communication and written skills
- Ideally have experience with Handisoft, MYOB, Quickbooks and Xero
- Have a proactive attitude and a desire for more client interaction
