Leading international business are looking to appoint a new Commercial Finance Manager / Senior Finance Business Partner to add real value.

Client Details

My client are a Global market leading business operating in the leisure, travel, tourism and freight sectors are looking for a new commercially minded finance manager / senior finance business partner.

Description

As the Senior Finance Business Parner / Commercial Finance Manager you will provide all the necessary commercial support to key stakeholders in the business and the CFO.

The purpose of the role is to provide first class financial and management information and strategic advice to the Board and Senior Management Team, helping to grow the business, formulate and execute strategies, and driving business change initiatives throughout the organisation.

You will identify improvement opportunities as well as risk, and will work towards overall improvement.

Specific dutues will include:

  • Operating as a key business partner to the MD of your division
  • Providing accurate and timely information to the board and senior management team to enable better understanding of the financial position of the division
  • Management, preparation and communication of management reports, financial plans and budgets
  • Providing strategic and operational financial advice which will help shape and influence future corporate strategies.
  • Deliver high quality financial analysis and interpretation, including trending, bench marking and KPI analysis to support the business decision making process.
  • Set and agree business targets as appropriate
  • Leading the planning, reporting and business analysts activities for the division, ensuring that there are sufficient controls in place
  • Ensure that these controls are reviewed / revised on a regular basis to meet the changing needs and requirements of the business
  • Work with the other Business Partners in supporting key growth, business change initiatives and cost reduction programmes
  • Optimise the company's portfolio of supported change projects to ensure the financial goals are achieved as efficiently as possible
  • Recommend decisions to approve or reject projects for investment, and whether to continue investing in projects being executed

Profile

The ideal candidate for the Senior Finance Business Partner / Commercial Finance Manager role will be fully qualified (ACA, CIMA, ACCA), and will have a strong track record of partnering commercially with the leadership structure.

You will be able to provide clear and concise reports with appropriate advice, and will have excellent financial planning and commercial experience.

Exposure to decision support, investment and business cases, business proposals and change management would all be beneficial.

Job Offer
