Taylor Hawkes are working closely with a Top 20 global consultancy firm, based in Jersey, within the Channel Islands, who are seeking an Audit Manager for their renowned audit & assurance team. The role will work with mixture of clients across industries including: Financial Services, intermediaries, insurance, and general practice.

The firm are one of the world's largest networks of audit, tax, and consultancy firms with offices located globally. The Channel Islands office will allow you to work on a range of international clients from locations such as the UK, Middle East, Panama, Cayman Islands, Germany, and Eastern Europe.

A clear progression plan will allow you to join a Manager training programme which will allow you to efficiently develop into a Director within the Audit & Assurance team. A number of clients will be within the financial services industry, you will be provided with full training on this sector should you not have experience to FCA clients.

Situated between the south coast of England and northern France, the Channel Islands are the most southerly islands in the British Isles and is widely accepted as an 'offshore finance centre', on par with the Cayman Islands and Bermuda. The islands are a short 45-minute flight to London and offer serene living conditions. There are many audit professionals working in Guernsey and jersey working for larger Big 4, Top 10, medium sized and boutique accounting practices.

Working in the Channel Islands will provide you with world class exposure to international clients. FS experience is not required as UK relocators are very much sought after and full training will be provided to ensure that you are cable of handling the nuances of an offshore FS client base. Audit clients range from multinational groups to smaller entities where, whilst still reporting under UK GAAP, you will gain wide exposure to a range of innovative accounting methods International Financial Reporting Standards.

The role will undertake the following duties:


• Working on a diverse portfolio of clients including LLPs, partnerships, sole traders, and SME's.


• Manage multiple audit engagements with full responsibility for your portfolio of clients.


• Review engagement files and provide training to your team to ensure quality standards are achieved.


• Undertake special projects that may arise from time to time.
