A leading US Law Firm is looking to hire a new Revenue Controller on a permanent basis. This role will offer a large amount of face time with the Partners and will be a great opportunity for someone with strong revenue and billing experience, ideally using 3E. The role is to work 3 days in the office, 2 from home, standard hours are 9.30am - 5.30pm with a salary of circa £60,000 on offer plus fantastic benefits.

Reporting into the Revenue Manager, the Revenue Controller responsibilities will include:

  • Direct contact with billing partners to resolve client revenue related issues
  • Supporting the time entry review, update & maintenance
  • Preparing data on client billed/unbilled time and provide updates to clients / partners
  • Ensure clients / partners are provided with WIP updates & bills go out on a timely basis as agreed with clients
  • Maintain fixed and capped fee information and provide alerts
  • Matter close/billing/revenue realization date maintenance and communication
  • Coordinate billing & collections activity with billing & collections team
  • Review and maintain accurate phase, task, and billing codes, plus highlighting out of scope service provision
  • Provide revenue related analysis to clients / partners
  • Build relationships with the finance team
  • Develop an understanding of the revenue process and make suggestions for improvements in processes to reduce lockup days.

Candidates need to have a minimum of 5 years legal revenue experience, strong written, communication and organisational experience, in addition to experience directly working for senior Partners/Stakeholders and using either Aderant or Elite 3E billing software.
