Jenson Fisher are working with another returning client and are supporting with the recruitment of an experienced Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper for an ongoing temporary contract.This contract is to cover maternity leave, and would be joining a small and friendly team, for a period of around 6-9 months, ideally started this month. Day to day duties in the role will include:
  • Processing of sale invoices and purchase invoices
  • Bank Input and Bank reconciliation on a weekly/monthly basis
  • Weekly and monthly processing of payroll
  • Quarterly VAT returns
  • Preparation of weekly information for the director/management accountant
  • Processing of inter company invoices and balances
  • Debt recovery from customers
  • Preparation of year end information for accountant
  • Answering of telephone and dealing with customer queries expected
  • Ad-hoc administration duties as needed.
Having experience using Sage 50 Accounts and Sage 50 Cloud Payroll essential, along with an in depth knowledge of Excel and good computer skills advantageous. Having experience working within the manufacturing industry would also be of an advantage but not essential.The role offers a competitive salary package and working hours of Monday to Friday 9amto 5pm. Due to the location of the office, having a driving license and access to your own transport is essential.
