TeessideTogether for a cleaner, healthier world.As the Accounts Payable Assistant you will be responsible for accurate and timely processing of invoices and/or expense claims, identifying any issues when they occur, working with internal and external stakeholders to provide excellent service to our internal and external customersYour
responsibilities:
Processing vendor invoices for various JM businesses supported by the Shared Service CentreWorking closely with other departments to highlight issues such as price or quantity variations from Purchase Orders, ensuring the invoices in the workflow are assigned to the correct people and resolving issues where they are straightforwardReconcile vendor statements to JM records in the ERP system, highlighting any identified discrepancies and following up where straightforwardPerform reviews and audits on employee expense claimsPrepare Master Data vendor creation/change requests for approval and processingAdministration and processing of JM Corporate Card requests and issuancesRequirements for the role:Some experience in Accounts Payable, preferably in an MNC environmentExperience working with Medium-Large ERP system; SAP (preferred)/Oracle/JDE etcConfidence to communicate effectively with vendors and business staffCustomer service focusedHow you will be rewarded:We offer a competitive compensation and JM Elements benefits package including bonus, excellent pension contributions and 25 days annual leave (varies for shift based roles).
