Leading Consultancy business based in Chiswick has an opening in it's Finance team for an accounts assistant. This role is a 6 month contract that may well lead to a permanent role, and is responsible for:

  • Accounts Receivable (AR): raising all client invoices accurately and efficiently in Xero and on portals where necessary and updating Margin Report (MR), allocating receipts from clients correctly and requesting remittances to ensure AR is correctly reflected
  • Accounts Payable (AP) posting all suppliers and contractors invoices/ credit notes accurately and efficiently in Xero and updating Margin Report (MR) accordingly, allocation of payments to suppliers and contractors.
  • Bank Reconciliation - Reconciliations of all bank accounts efficiently and on timely manner
  • Monitoring mailboxes to ensure all emails and correspondences are responded/ actioned on time
  • Creating payment schedules and uploading payments to online banking software

This is a great opportunity for an AAT studier or a person with 2 to 3 years' experience to test themselves in abusy environment. You'll need attention to detail, good Excel and finance systems experience (Xero would be ideal) and the ability to work as part of a team and to deadlines and solve problems with minimal supervision. This role is based in the office Monday to Thursday and WFH on Fridays.
