Overview of the Junior Accountant:
• Reconcile payable reports each month to confirm that all amounts paid were accurate
• Ensures credit is received for outstanding memos.
• Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
• Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong organizational ability
• Effective corporate communications skills
• Reconciling vendor statements
• Ability to consistently meet all deadlines
• Keep track of credits owed to the company and ensure all credits are properly applied to vendor payments
• Reconcile payable reports each month to confirm that all amounts paid were accurate
• General ledger entry and maintenance
• Daily AP invoice data entry

Experience Preferred for the Junior Accountant:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree (accounting or finance preferred)
• 0-3 years of experience
• Well-versed in Excel
