Working in the OptumHealth finance integration team, you'll help our business create finance infrastructure to support growth and innovation. You will be involved with finance initiatives to ensure acquired entities are integrated to accounting and finance systems and processes, ensuring consistency and accuracy of financial results in a controlled environment. Your work will help support newly acquired business as well as create finance infrastructure that is scalable to support OptumHealth's broader business initiatives.

This role will be based in the Eden Prairie, MN office or you'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S., as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Assist in project management for financial integration activities for acquired entities
  • Assist with development and documentation of financial processes and procedures for acquired entities
  • Assist with other finance projects supporting enhancements to PeopleSoft and SmartView to support business requirements
  • Provide training on UHG financial systems
  • Manage activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope
  • Document project requirements, decisions and progress
  • Take on challenges and create innovative solutions for improvement in efficiency and effectiveness

Required Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance and/or equivalent education and work experience
  • 3+ years of related Accounting or Finance experience
  • Intermediate to advanced level of proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint, PeopleSoft and Hyperion SmartView
  • Experience anticipating customer needs and proactively developing solutions to meet them

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $66,100 to $118,300. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $72,800 to $129,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
