Job Description:

Onsite - TEMPE AZ until training has been completed. Once training is completed and able to work with minimum supervision, errors, and grasping of tasks this role may than move into a hybrid position (in office twice a week)

Essential Job Functions:
  • Process daily cash deposits and reconcile lockbox data transmission to deposit total. Resolve differences.
  • Key entry/upload cash transactions into the lease information system.
  • Perform system clearing of suspense items and prepare necessary entries or tickets to clear suspense accounts or inter-company cash transfers.
  • Process lease dispositions and cash adjustments.
  • Handle special requests from Customer Service or Collection departments and provide assistance on proper coding.
  • Reconcile daily cash activities processed to the total deposits.
  • Process lease funding requests and issue check payment.
  • Ensure all payments are balanced to funding requests.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Prepare itemized statements, ills, or invoices and record amounts due for items purchased or services rendered.
  • Reconcile and post receipts for cash received by various departments.
  • Perform bookkeeping work, including posting data and keeping other records concerning costs and shipments.

    • Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking.
    • Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
    • Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed.
    • Knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations as related to accounting.
    • Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related accounting software.


    Education/Experience:
    • High school diploma or GED required. Associate's degree in accounting or related financial discipline preferred.
    • 0-2 years financial and/or accounting experience required.
