Senior Staff Accountant
Phoenix, Arizona (100% in-office)
Overview
The incumbent will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of monthly financial reporting. The candidate will also have a key hand in collecting information for third party audits, overseeing financial reporting and operations and will be the first point of contact for accounting issues.

Duties
- Preparation of month financial reporting
- Reconcile the Balance Sheet
- First point of contact for accounting issues for the company, answer questions by research and interpretation of data
- Assist in month & year-end close
- Proficient in preparing journal entries
- Postings of transactions into the general ledger
- Reconciliation of vendor accounts
- Assist in financial statement audit
- Bachelors on Accounting, finance or Business
- 2+ years of experience
- Experience working within the construction or construction related industry highly preferred
- Strong Excel skills (heavy use of pivot tables and VLOOKUP's a must)
- The successful individuals must have a strong understanding of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, and other general financial transactions within an organization.
