Our solid clients are leaders in their field of event hire and are in the market for a Junior Accounts Payable Officer who is able to deal with high volume in a fast paced environment. This is also one of those opportunities for an astute Accountant to make their mark, take ownership and work in a great team!
Located in Richmond, this large, very busy organisation are looking forward to welcoming a positive person who is able to bring new energy and passion to the position.
The suitable candidate must have excellent communication skills and advanced experience with ACCPAC , together with a solid understanding of general Accounting to support their daily tasks which include:

• Registering and distributing high volume of invoices
• Matching purchase orders with invoices
• Processing account allocation
• Processing Payments - EFT and daily cheque runs
• Reconciliation of accounts
• Assisting with month end closure and associated reporting
• Attending to internal and external queries regarding transactions and payments
• General accounts administrative duties including filing, documentation management and supporting the team

Abilities should include:

• Solid understanding of knowledge of AP
• Excellent communication skills
• Expoosure to ACCPAC would be advantageous
• Methodical and thorough attention to detail
• Highly organised
• Team player
• Able to work autonomously
