*Job Description*

This award winning concern in the financial services space has an amazing opportunity for a Fund Accountant who will join their small finance department on a 4 months contract basis.

This role is suitable for a tenacious professional that is client focused, technically savvy and takes initiative in their work whilst taking ownership.

The key responsibilities for this role will include:

* Day to day accounting responsibilities including management accounting, financial reporting and cash flow management
* Monthly management of workflow
* Meeting monthly, quarterly and annual processing
* Bank reconciliations

The requirements:

*Qualification:*

* BCom Finance or Accounting (non-negotiable)

*Experience:*

* 5 years' experience in the retirement fund industry or similar environment
* Knowledge of the Pension Fund Legislation
* Knowledge of Everest.net system (preferred)
* Exposure to the Financial Advisory Intermediary Services environment

*Skills Required:*

* Conversant in more than one RSA language (including indigenous)
* Excellent communication and coordination skills
* Ability to relate to employees at all levels
