As an Australian owned and operated business, our client has supported communities for almost 40 years through pet services. The company is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to join the Perth team.

The Role

In this role, you will have end to end management of Accounts Payable including:

• Data entry and payment reconciliations.
• Monitor general ledger coding of payables invoices and credit card reconciliations.
• Assist with wider team with coding and following correct procedures.
• Ensure payables are paid per due date in weekly pay runs.
• Ensure all ABNs, contact details, bank details are current and independently verified.

Your Skills & Experience

• Extraordinary experience in an AP role spanning at least two years.
• Forward-thinking skills in MS Excel.
• Strong communication skills.
• Comfortable hitting the ground running.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

About You

You are highly organised, detail oriented, and have a sense of urgency to complete tasks promptly but accurately. You have a flexible outlook and are able to take care of frequent interruptions and changing priorities. You have strong communication, customer service and social skills, especially with contacts from both technical and financial backgrounds. You have the initiative and creative flair to offer innovative solutions to improve the A/P function.
