About our Client
Based in the CBD and close to public transport, our client is a highly regarded Goverment department responsible for delivering key infrastructure projects. They are looking for a skilled Accountant to join their project accounting team.
About your role

• Provide financial reporting and advice on major projects
• Assist with the preparation of the monthly project reporting
• Monitoring and controlling your own workload
• Take responsibility for allocating and reallocating task
• Work closely with colleagues to deliver on competing demands.
• Perform end-of-month project accruals and journals
• Assist with the preparation of budget forecasts and monitoring
• Address project invoices, various claims and progress claims

About you

• You will be smart, intelligent and savvy
• Experienced in infrastructure/capital works/project environments
• Looking for a leader who develops and coaches his team
• Ready to work with a high-performing team
