A Well-established Platinum mine based in Steelpoort Limpopo, is looking for a qualified Cost Accountant with stock management exposure and experience. Dealing with the inventory and stock levels will be required.
*Education:*

* Grade 12 / Matric with accounting as a subject

* Degree in Finance / Cost & Management Accounting

* Post graduate qualification may be advantageous

*Requirements:*

* 8 Years working experience in a similar field.

* Experience in cost management.

* Experience in spares inventory control.

* Must be an action orientated person.

* Maintain high level of confidentiality.

* Work cordially and professionally with internal and external constituents.

* Candidates must reside in a close proximity of Steelpoort.

* Be prepared to travel between plants as and when required.

*Duties and responsibilities amongst others:*

* Financial processing & reporting

* Operation cost control & allocation.

* Preparing operational cost budgets.

* Cost reporting for operations.

* Asset register control.

* Operation purchasing & pricing control.

* Month end process.

* Work close with operations management and staff.

* Support to plant management and Financial Department.

* Stock Management

* Implementation and control of spare inventory management system.

* Manage inventory.

* Ensure that Stock levels are adequate.

* Manage, control and organised inventory counts.

* Stock value control.

* General Housekeeping of warehouses.

* Supervision, coaching and mentoring of staff members.
