Job Details

The Billing Assistant will be responsible for converting WIP to compliant invoices, to secure payments, resolve any queries and assist the revenue controllers.

The position, based out of their City of London office will process a high number of invoices each month and ensure that the debt collection of invoices is undertaken in accordance with the credit control procedures.

The client are a Top International Law Firm based in the City of London, well established and working on an international basis with the leading independent law firms and global clients within the Financial Services industry.

This is a hybrid role.

Description

The Billing Assistant will be responsible for the following:

  • Process a high number of invoices each month according to established procedures
  • Ensure that the debt collection of invoices is undertaken in accordance with the credit control procedure
  • Ensure that queries raised by a client are resolved in the appropriate time frame and escalated to fee earners, revenue controllers or management
  • Ensure that all relevant information relating to unpaid invoices is recorded in system to be fed back to partners and fee-earners

Profile

The successful Billing Assistant:

  • Previous experience working in legal or professional services industry (preferred)
  • Accounts Receivable, legal billing or credit control experience (Preferred)
  • Looking to commence or actively studying AAT
  • Interest in pursuing a career in Accounting within Legal industry
  • Competence in using Microsoft Office
