Our client is a global leader in the manufacturing and distribution of nutritional care products. This worldwide export company has operations across Asia, including Malaysia, Taiwan, Singapore, Indonesia, Australia, the Philippines, and New Zealand.

The Role

This is a newly created position that will assist the Manufacturing Accountant and Financial Accountant with costings on all products manufactured by the various sites. This is great opportunity to step into the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance on standard costings on all products manufactured by the various sites.
• Prepare relevant monthly journals and accruals for the business as required.
• Liaise with the Manufacturing Accountant and other departments on setting manufacturing recovery rates for stock standard costing and any other budgeting information as required.
• Liaise with Master Data Controller on BOM set ups and inventory standard cost set up.
• Update costings documentation process and keep current.
• Accounts Receivable support including Letters of Credit management.
• Wages back up for Payroll.

Your Profile

You will have at least 2-3 years of experience in accounting. This is a great opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to step into an Assistant Accountant role. You will have to be a team player, have good communication skills and have a good attention to detail.
