Client Details
My client is looking to recruit a Finance Manager on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave
Description
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- To prepare, in conjunction with the Head of Operations and Depute Chief Executive, detailed budgets and monitor & report on performance of programmes against budget on a monthly, quarterly & annual basis
- To prepare a suite of monthly management accounts for all programmes including monthly cashflow analysis
- To prepare Annual Statutory Accounts and related support documentation in conjunction with appointed auditors and in accordance with legislative accounting requirements
- To be directly responsible for all aspects of the company's banking arrangements, liaising with the all bankers as appropriate
- To ensure the efficient & timely payment of all company suppliers within agreed payment terms to maintain a positive credit profile
- To undertake the Company Secretary duties in accordance with legislative requirements
- To provide direct line management and leadership to the Finance Team through the Finance Team Leader
- To provide secretarial support to Senior Management Team and Board of Directors
Profile
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Fully qualified accountant (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or exceptionally equivalent experience
- Advanced financial modelling (excel) skills - ability to build and manipulate detailed models to arrive at appropriate outputs to support decision making
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills
- Ability to tailor messages to the relevant audience, distilling key messages without losing the appropriate level of detail
- Strong communication and influencing skills, able to act swiftly and decisively with confidence
- Appreciation for controls and process improvement
