Your new firm
Your new firm are a well known, respected and award winning firm of chartered accountants with offices across Lancashire and Greater Manchester. The firm as a whole offer a range of services including accountancy, audit, cloud accounting, corporate finance, payroll, tax planning/advisory and financial planning. Due to continued growth in their audit / advisory function they are now looking to bring in a confident audit professional to bolster their current offering. In your new role your working location is flexible with options to work out of either Blackburn or Bury.

Your new role
In your new role you will form a key part of the audit function, primarily servicing a range of large corporate clients and business owners, with 75% of the role being made up of statutory audits and examinations of charities and solicitors. The remaining 15% of your role will be made up of advisory / accounting services for a number of other clients. As you experience grows on smaller audits, you will then also get involved in taking on large audits delivering work alongside Managers and Senior Managers.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will need to have some initial audit experience, having spent time working within an accounting practice in the past. If you only have accounts experience, but want to get involved audit they will also be considered. Ideally you will be studying ACA/ACCA which will continue to be supported.
