Job Details
A group management accountant role to support the business during a period of huge growth. Support on ad-hoc acquisition projects within the finance department.
Client Details
The client is in the building/construction industry with their head office just outside of St. Albans.
Description
They key responsibilities of the interim group management accountant:
- Assist with Accurate and Timely production & review of Management Accounts, for all Group Companies - reporting packs with commentary.
- Working Closely with Area Directors and Branch Managers
- Review and Report on Stock Taking and Stock Variances - including stock take attendance to confirm Stock Take Controls.
- Preparation of year end schedules to support External Audit process.
- Preparation of Data used in the Annual Budget process.
- Testing and Implementation and integration of any newly acquired businesses.
- Other Ad hoc reporting / tasks, requested by Senior Finance Team Members.
Profile
The successful interim group management accountant will be:
- Qualified accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Experienced Management Accountant
- Experience with acquisition accounting
- Able to build relationships and work well with our Directors and Managers and other key personnel.
