An opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join an Italian, PE-backed education business based in central London.
Client Details
My client is a PE-backed fashion business school and headquartered in Italy. They were established in 2003 and now operate globally.
Description
The Finance Manager will be responsible for the following:
Managing Month-end including detailed analysis for discrepancies between monthly figures and forecast
Delivering monthly forecast and cash forecast
Providing monthly analysis and management of capex budget and capex forecast
Preparing the yearly budget
Preparing the statutory financial statements under UK GAAP
Managing year end closings and preparation of year end audit deliverables (key contact for local Auditors)
Working papers review for balance sheet reconciliation
Line management for a team of 2
Supporting key stakeholders in controlling costs and achieving business objectives
Liaising with local Tax Consultant in the compliance with tax requirements
Preparing VAT Returns
OFS Annual Returns
Profile
The successful Finance Manager will have the following credentials:
- Fully qualified with either ACA/ACCA/CIMA or QBE
- Ability to produce management accounts/close out a month-end
- Experience working within a matrix organisation
- Experience within the education and training sector highly desirable
- Line management experience desirable
- Adaptable to change and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
