Financial Controller - 6 Month FTC- Circa £60k

Client Details
My client is looking to recruit a Financial Controller on a 6 month basis.
Description
Your responsibilities will include:
* Help to prepare and review statutory, regulatory and management reports, accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring adequate controls are in place
* Interpret accounting regulations and identifying regulatory and/or statutory changes ensuring compliance as appropriate and enabling consideration of industry best practice
* Oversee day-to-day activities of the finance function, ensuring it operates seamlessly and in a controlled manner,and provide support and training where needed
* Preparing annual budgets, forecasts and relevant commentaries for the board
* Driving new initiatives to improve reporting and give updated on ongoing projects
Profile
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
* Experience of acting as a financial controller or equivalent
* Experience of producing management accounts and other financial reports and analysis
* Experience of producing board reports
