Senior Finance Assistant Position, office based near Fareham, paying up to £28,000

Your new company is the in-house provider of catering, retail, leisure, and soft facilities management services for the armed forces.

Your new role
To provide and ensure that the production and delivery of location specific accounting information is validated and has integrity. Complying with accounting policies, internal accounting procedures and accounting standards and recommending areas of improvement and simplification where possible and keeping all procedure notes up to date. Duties include:

• raising location sales and collection of location debt.
• being responsible for the collation and validation of monthly reports and entry onto the appropriate systems
• validation of local cash purchases
• assisting the FC with cash management
• assisting the Commercial and Management Accountant and the Accounting Services Accountant, by providing timely and accurate information when required.

What you'll need to succeed

• minimum level 3 AAT qualification
• strong finance experience in an office environment
• experience of high-volume transactions
• great communication skills
