Are you an Auditor with or working towards RI, who has the knowledge to lead a team and the drive to become an associate director? MPeople are delighted to be assisting a global business based on the outskirts of Bolton who offers amazing benefits such as Health Care, Duvet Days, 1st day of school off - when your child starts school, Pension Scheme. Salary starting at £50,000, hours Monday - Thursday 9am-5pm and Friday 9am-4pm.

Auditor Duties:

  • Oversee and review of audits, accounts preparations, corporation tax, personal tax, VAT returns and management accounts, as well as any other work from time to time.
  • Team management in a supportive and communicative way to encourage business development and growth.
  • Time and budget management.
  • Relationship development with clients.
  • Supporting managers to plan and drive engagements, along with staff training.
  • Assisting the wider teams with technical accounting and financial reporting matters.
  • Travel maybe needed in the UK and abroad but this wouldn't be very often.
  • Management consultancy support and succession support within the firms.
  • Financial Due Diligence on acquisitions, supported by the current management team.
  • Business development in conjunction with the management team.
  • Recruitment, promotions and salary reviews.
  • Assist HR with disciplinaries when required.
  • Compliance reviews.
  • Ensure forms like AH KYC, ID and Risk assessment are filled in periodically.

Auditor Requirements:

  • Vast technical knowledge.
  • Has or working towards RI.
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and written.
  • Drive and desire to become a director.
  • Time management skills.
  • Familiar with the following: Digita, Xero, Virtual Cabinet including Accounts Production and Audit Automation, and any similar software a client may use to maintain their accounting records.
  • Ability to work as a team and a board member.
