To be considered for this role CassonX are looking for those with Client (fund) Accounting experience for Alternatives, Private Equity or ideally Real Estate Funds. This can be gained in a Fund Administration or Custody business, as well as on the Real Estate client fund side. Working knowledge of UK GAAP / IFRS and UK corporate structures are deemed desirable, with experience in Regulatory reporting (e.g. AIFMD/CASS) deemed highly advantageous. You must be able to demonstrate a desire and ability in directly communicating with clients. Whilst it is not essential, a qualified or part qualified accountancy qualification will create interest.

Supporting open / closed end funds and special purpose vehicles investing in private equity, real estate, venture capital, infrastructure and debt, some responsibilities include:

Preparing management accounts and annual financial statements as well as assist in overseeing fund and special purpose vehicle accounting prepared in an offshore jurisdiction.Assist in ensuring that Financial Statements are prepared in accordance with IFRS or local GAAP, and completed and filed within the contractual and statutory timeframes. Preparation of UK VAT and CIS returnsAssist in the review of NAV calculations that are prepared offshoreHigh degree of client interactionMore information is available to those who submit a relevant CV.
