To provide finance administration support to a number of sites and be the central point of contact for the area General Manager and ensure their financial support needs are met.

Description

• Participation in Health & Safety awareness and support across the sites
• To be responsible for the production of management accounts for a given region
• To be the central point of contact for the area General Manager and ensure their financial support needs are met
• Cost analysis by site throughout the month and period end ensuring costs are coded correctly
• Accounting data analysis by site throughout the month and period end
• Provision of production statistics and inventory movements and reconciliation
• Reconciliation of capital expenditure
• Entry of month end journals for reporting
• Assist with forecast and budget preparation and analysis for the works and depots
• Provide holiday cover for the other Regional Management Accountants
• To ensure financial data is accurate and complete and coded correctly
• To assist the central finance team with balance sheet reconciliations as required

• Ensure that all accounting policies and procedures are applied
• Supervision and development of assistant accountants and other finance staff may be required

• Ad-hoc queries responded to satisfactory level
• All other duties or tasks as requested by your line manager

Profile

Must be able to demonstrate a high level of written and numerical literacy

Accountant qualification (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) is required
