Description

The primary responsibility of the Assistant Accountant is to provide accounting support to two projects. The Assistant Accountant will be reporting directly to the Project Finance Manager and will be required to manage transaction processing and report on the projects, provide financial advice and liaise with internal stakeholders, and monitor expenditure of the projects.

Profile

The successful candidate will:

• Be fully AAT qualified
• Understand financial reporting techniques, including variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting and planning techniques
• Have a good grasp of Management Accountancy principals
• Have excellent Microsoft Excel skills
• Be able to analyse, interpret and present financial data
• Have excellent interpersonal skills

Job Offer

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary between £25,000-£28,000 + 25 days annual leave + 8 bank holiday days and occasional days off due to training + an excellent pension scheme with generous employer contributions + a flexible, hybrid working model with 2 days in the office and 3 days at home.
