Job Details

Job Summary:
  • Assist the Controller to establish, or recommend to management, major corporate economic strategies, objectives, and policies.
  • Prepare reports which summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.
  • Assist with the preparation of budgets and periodic budget reviews while providing necessary supporting documentation and justification.
  • Provide the Controller with timely reviews of the organization's financial status and progress.
  • Assist with arrangements for audits of the company's accounts.
  • Prepare reports required by regulatory agencies.
  • Establish relations with banks and other financial institutions.
  • Prepare monthly statements which include guiding various staff accountants with respect to accounting issues they encounter.
  • Monitor cash flow and funding requirements.
  • Prepare information for tax preparers as required.

Job Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in progressing accounting roles, preferably from a Family Owned Company.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, & Microsoft Teams.
  • Must be a self-starter, goal-minded, leader.
  • Ability to listen to others, collaborate, and resolve conflict.
  • Demonstrates effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong ethical practices.
  • Solid understanding of accounting laws and regulations.
