Our Revo Fitness HQ team is growing, and we are currently looking for a Junior Accountant to support our growing finance team.
The Opportunity:

We love to exceed our members' expectations, making sure they get the best fitness experience. This new position will be an important part of our success, to open new clubs to reach more members and ultimately help them reach their own health and fitness goals.

Reporting to our CFO, our Junior Accountant will be an eager junior or graduate who is a keen learner. Working closely as part of the Finance team, you will help support the daily operations of the finance function. This position will suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced role, whilst developing your practical accounting knowledge in a rapidly growing business with career progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with month end process and prepare balance sheet reconciliations
• Assists with the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Collaborate with management and staff to prepare budgets and provide monthly budget v actuals reporting
• Assist with forecasting and feasibility for new sites
• Assist with accounts payable queries
• Assist with daily reconciliations of cash and credit card transactions
• Assist with tax and corporate reporting requirements of the business
• Assist with financial statement audits annually

The perfect candidate will have the following essential qualities:

• Graduate or Junior Accountant with 1-2 years industry experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent
• CPA or CA qualified, or intend to complete (Revo will cover the cost)
• High level Attention to Detail
• Strong organisation and time management skills
• Sound understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles
• Competency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
• Working knowledge in Xero and/or Approval Max would be advantageous
