We are currently looking for an Accountant based in White River, Mpumalanga
* Process financial transactions to trial balance.
* Prepare monthly financial management accounts.
* Provide data to external auditors for processing of annual financial statements.
* Perform departmental budgeting and controlling .
* Monitor KPI's such as gross margins , food cost %, expenditure % and profit margins
* Collection ,analysis, and summarization of data using various tools .
* Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work in order to ensure compliance with applicable standards
* On the job training and coaching of staff.
* Monitor the implementation of financial policies and procedures especially relating to stock and cash management
* Prepare statutory compliance reports such as Vat 201, Emp 201 etc.
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
* 3-5 years relevant experience working in accounting and bookkeeping
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Proficient skills in Pastel Partner and Payroll
* High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
* Understanding and application of relevant SARS Tax compliance requirements
* Understanding and application of SA labour laws pertaining to payroll administration.
Market Related Salary based on Experience & Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
* 3-5 years relevant experience working in accounting and bookkeeping
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Proficient skills in Pastel Partner and Payroll
* High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
