Client Details
My client is seeking an Interim Project Accountant for a period of 9 months on a fixed term contract basis.
Description
In this role you'll need to work between the following teams - Accounts Payable, the SAP Implementation Project Team and IT. You'll need to deliver the implementation to meet user's needs including:
- Contributing to design workshops
- Defining and performing testing scenarios
- Training new system users
- Documenting work performed as future reference material
- Data cleansing
- Data mapping for migration.
You'll also be required to undertake ad hoc tasks as and when required to meet the businesses needs.
Please note this role requires the successful candidate to be on site 5 days a week in Wakefield.
Profile
- Qualified Accountant - ACA / ACCA / CIMA
- Experience of Accounts Payable within a wider business context - ESSENTIAL
- Systems and controls design and specification experience including Purchase Orders and integration with Inventory systems - ESSENTIAL
- Inquisitive and an mind set
- Have experience using a large ERP system such as SAP or Oracle - ESSENTIAL
- Experience of business partnering with none financial colleagues
- Ability to work under own initiative to meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills.
Job Offer
- Salary up to £55,000 per annum depending on experience
- 9 month fixed term contact
- Start by the end of July if not straight away.
