The role of Assistant Accountant - temp to perm is for an immediate start. This will be an on-going temp role but could become permanent for the right person.

My client is a not for profit business based in Epsom. They have friendly, inclusive offices and a great working culture. They urgently need someone to start asap to join their busy finance function
Description
The role of Assistant Accountant - temp to perm will involve:
- Accounts to trial balance
- Reconciliation of the balance sheet
- Journals
- Accruals
- Prepayments
- Bank reconciliations
- Cash flow forecast
- Deal;ing with funding
- Liaising with stakeholders
- Credit control
- Supporting with audit
Profile
To be successful in your application, you will:
- Be AAT qualified or studying ACCA/CIMA
- Be able to start at very short notice
- Be a clear communicator
- Have month end accounting knowledge
- To have worked in education - desirable, not essential
- Be a team player
