Description

As Financial Controller, your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and cash flow forecasts.
• Preparation of monthly management pack; analysing sales, purchasing and stock and presenting this report to the Board of Directors.
• Supervise and manage accounts team, including sales ledger, purchase ledger and accounts assistant.
• Liaising with auditors, preparing all schedules and working with them to produce published financial statements.
• Overseeing monthly payroll and pensions.
• Overseeing credit control; arranging credit insurance, monitoring debtors and cash collection closely.
• Support the Commercial Director with personnel and legal matters, and actively involved in recruitment across all departments.
• Involvement in ad hoc projects for the business
• Preparation of ad hoc reports to support decision making across the business.
• Preparation of annual forecasts, providing commentary and variance analysis as required.

Profile

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced application knowledge of MS Office suite in particular Excel.
• Experienced working with high volumes and tight deadlines while prioritising workloads
• Key attention to detail and personal/professional accountability
