Senior Finance Analyst in a fast pace growing US owned business
Client Details
US owned tech business and global leader in what they do.
Description
Responsibility for financial planning and budgeting of operations costs
* Publishing periodic financial reports, including operational performance metrics, and overhead cost management, to provide department owners and leadership visibility.
* Perform analytical reviews of financial information to identify trends and opportunities. Recommending improvements to drive cost efficiencies in balance with operational needs and capabilities.
* Preparing cost benefit models for new capex projects, track and analyze spend & ROI performance vs. plan.
* Assisting with month-end close; Prepare journal entries including accurate accrual & true-up accounting for the categories listed above.
* Actively participating in design and implementation of advance costing and standard costing systems.
* Assisting with Global Ops Finance projects and reporting, including governing of monthly reporting, and consolidation of financials.
Profile
· Experience with costing or financial analysis in distribution, manufacturing industry
· Previous experience as a Finance Analyst or Cost Accountant
· Previous experience with implementing or maintaining advance costing (cost standardization) system is strongly preferred
· Strong grasp of UK GAAP and standard costing concepts
· Strong understanding of financial analytics, budgeting, forecasting, modeling, and reporting, with a highly detail-oriented focus on accuracy
