OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To support company executives in minimizing risks and making the best possible business decisions by gathering and analysing company, competitor, and market financial performance data.
Financial Analyst is responsible for preparation for financial statements: Profit & Loss, Cash Flow & Balance Sheet. The role is also accountable on financial planning, analysis and financial projections on revenue and expenditure to establish cost structure and determine capital budgeting for projects.

Financial Analyst is responsible for preparation for financial statements: Profit & Loss, Cash Flow & Balance Sheet. The role is also accountable on financial planning, analysis and financial projections on revenue and expenditure to establish cost structure and determine capital budgeting for projects.
DUTIES & REPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare monthly reports: P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement Report.
- Prepare weekly reports Operational Metrics: Revenue & Other expenses
- Report financial performance and work closely with management teams to share reports and analysis findings.
- Company, Competitor & Market Financial Performance Report presented to management and executive team.
- Perform financial forecasting, target setting, reporting and operational metrics tracking
- Analyse financial data and create financial models to support valuation, planning, forecasting and business decisions
- Evaluate financial performance, past results and identify trends and make recommendations for business improvements presented to management and executives
- Aid in the capital budgeting and expenditure planning process for business plans and projects
- Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards
- Provide quality, relevant and insightful analysis on the expense and financial performance for the Group.
- Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures
- Preparation of Monthly Financial Risk Report which covers: Revenue, Expenditure, Cash Flow & Stock Variance.
- Consulting with the management team to develop long-term commercial plans
- Developing budget improvement and initiatives by creating processes and policies that may improve financial growth
- Improving financial efficiencies and reducing costs across the business
- Collaborate with other leaders, team members, offshore partners and stakeholders to deliver standardised reporting, integrated solutions and performance management insights
- Work closely with external auditors in closing the book
- Debt Management and collection
- Preparing Company Tax and BAS statements
- Ensuring compliance with statutory law and financial regulations
- Payroll Processing & Assist in other HR related activities
- Lead and Mentor Finance Team (Finance Officers for Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable)
- Conduct 1 on 1 meetings, Daily & weekly huddles with Finance Team
- Lead Performance Reviews for Finance Team
