Purchase Ledger Clerk | Permanent | Normanton | £20,000 - £23,000

Client:

Castlefield Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a well-established organisation that are looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their friendly team during a period of expansion.

Duties:

  • Full maintenance of the purchase ledger
  • Process supplier payments and customer receipts
  • Matching, batching and coding a high volume of invoices
  • Creating and verifying new supplier accounts
  • Raising sales invoices
  • Credit control
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Dealing with queries (internally and externally) - phone and email
  • Supplier reconciliations (using Excel)
  • Ad-hoc duties to assist the Finance team

You will have:

  • Experience in a transactional finance role
  • Strong MS Excel capabilities
  • Based a commutable distance from Normanton
