Accounts Payable Clerk

2-month contract with extension possibility.

Spalding, Lincs (with some days working from home)

£21000 -23000 pro rata

Immediate requirement for an experienced purchase ledger clerk to support with a backlog in Accounts Payable team for this large FMCG business.

The opportunity has arisen due to business growth, projects and we require an additional clear-thinking, hard-working and dependable resource to join the team.

Role will include:

• Verifying invoices on INVU document scanning system
• Reconcile supplier statements as and when received, deal with any supplier queries
• Processing international Intercompany invoices
• Process employee travel and expense claims
• Other general accounting duties

• Processing invoicesin ERP system (IFS) and match to relevant purchase order.
• Code & gain authorisation of Non-PO based invoices in accordance with company issued Signatory List.
• Produce payments due list and raise payments via BACS to suppliers to ensure all suppliers kept within terms.

• Manage/update supplier master file

Experience and Qualifications:

• Delivery in fast moving business of substantial size
• Good all-round accounting experience
• Evidence of quick learning and delivery
