Are you an experienced Credit Risk Officer looking for a business who will value your knowledge and expertise? A newly created role, our client is looking for someone who can hit the ground running, offer suggestions and make the role their own.

The key objectives of this position will be to manage customer credit and mitigate risk across the organisation. The Credit Risk Officer will perform credit assessments on new and existing customers whilst closely liaising with management and key internal stakeholders to ensure timely collections.
Reporting to the Finance Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Conduct credit assessments on new and existing customers to minimise customer default risk
- Report to management on outstanding issues
- Provide credit hold reports to the business
- Communicate with key stakeholders across the business regarding customer risk
- Review credit applications and references
- Establish credit limits and perform ongoing credit limit reviews
- Negotiate payment plans
- Refer debts to third party collection agencies when necessary
- Assist the finance team with ad-hoc tasks when required
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- Sound experience in a credit risk position
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Solid understanding of the end-to-end Accounts Receivable process
- Excellent analytical skills
- High attention to detail
- Understanding of credit insurance procedures
- Experience with Pronto advantageous however not essential
