Expression of interest Independent member of the Finance, Audit and Risk committee
Expression of interest is invited from suitably qualified person from the Northern Territory to become an independent member of the NAAJA FARC.
The external member is expected to make a valuable contribution to the Finance, Audit & Risk Committee.
Essential requirements include:
•Qualified accountant as defined in s88B of the Corporations Act, who relevantly belongs to any of
the professional bodies (Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, or CPA Australia.
•Capacity to dedicate sufficient time and energy for meeting requirements and documentation review.
•Knowledge and understanding of the Not-for-Profit sector and the requirements imposed on the sector by the ACNC and by other regulatory bodies.
•Demonstrable understanding of risk management and governance.
•Ability to work cooperatively with other Committee members and be comfortable in a team environment
