About the role

The Privileged Access squad aims to secure privileged access to critical business platforms, highly sensitive assets, tools and information by enforcing MFA, Ticket Validation, Session Management & Recording, Least Privilege based access, and a Role Based Access model to reduce the risk of unauthorised access, fraud and technology incidents.

As the I&AM Lead Analyst, you will be a part of the squad working to maintain and uplift the capability and extend coverage of the CyberArk Privileged Access Management solution, and manage privileged access across the NZ Bank.

  • Works with engineers, analysts, product owner and testers to onboard and maintain credentials and secrets to the Cyberark platform
  • Enables continuous delivery practices to increase delivery speed
  • Works in collaborative teams to build innovative solutions
  • Utilises tools and practices to build, verify and deploy processes and solutions in the most efficient ways, enhancing tech division capabilities
  • Maintain governance across privileged access and Active Directory
  • Analyse use cases for privileged access and ensure that maximum protection is achieved for credentials whilst maintaining an acceptable user experience
  • Provide specialist advice, troubleshooting, and strategic direction for the Cyberark tool
  • Maintain the Role Based access model
  • Manually provision privileged access safely and accurately in exception cases, ensuring the bank remains protected
  • Provide consultancy and advisory services for technology consumers
  • Cover for the NZ Manager - I&AM during absences


What will you bring?

  • Experience of Privileged Access Management principles and governance
  • A ‘Security First' mindset
  • Experience with Active Directory and Azure AD
  • Exposure to monitoring tools such as SCOM, Dynatrace and Splunk
  • Broad knowledge of Identity and Access Management Security concepts, toolsets and processes
  • Data analysis
  • Excellent documentation, negotiation and communication skills
  • Ideally proven experience with the CyberArk product suite including administration of solutions in both on-prem and cloud environments, or with similar Identity & Security tools
  • Proven skills in Active Directory administration, AD Group Policy highly regarded
  • Passionate, self-starter with the ability to work on problems from inception to completion
  • Powershell scripting


These qualifications will be highly regarded:

  • Cyberark ‘Defender' certification
  • Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate
