Our client a Highly acquisitive, very successful Private Equity backed company, based in Woking, Surrey is currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join the team.

Description

As the Purchase Ledger Assistant based from Woking, Surrey you will be responsible for:

  • Ownership of central Purchase Ledger email inbox
  • Processing invoices and credit notes for the Group.
  • Assistance with maintaining key supplier accounts.
  • Assist with payment runs.
  • Payment allocations.
  • Statement reconciliations.
  • Regular review of ledgers to resolve aged items, debit balances etc.
  • Monthly accruals preparation.
  • Other routine or ad-hoc duties, reasonably requested and commensurate with the role.

Profile

  • Ideally experience in a Purchase Ledger role
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Sound numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Suitable IT skills and very comfortable with core Microsoft software products - Excel, Word
  • Experienced worked with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or Navision is an advantage but not essential
  • Experience of invoice document scanning software an advantage.
  • Outgoing and communicative.

Job Offer

Salary £20,000 - £24,000

Hours 9.00 - 5.00
