Description

As the Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for the following:

• Raising purchase orders ensuring purchase order requests are correctly submitted with attached supplier quotations
• Entering purchase orders on Yardi
• Processing supplier invoices checking accuracy, matching Invoices with purchase orders and obtaining authorisation/approval to pay supplier invoices
• Dealing with queries to/from suppliers
• Entering invoices onto Yardi
• Processing Contractor Valuations for monthly Valuations and process the resulting paperwork including the requesting of resulting invoices
• Maintaining records of purchase orders, invoices, change orders, authorisation requests, award letters, valuations
• Providing general accounting/clerical support to the Accountants and Senior Accountant as required

Profile

To be considered for this Accounts Assistant role you must have the following:

• Computer literacy, with knowledge of Excel
• Strong maths / numerical skills
• Exposure to a role in accounting highly desirable
• Very organised with exceptional time management skills
• Eager to learn and develop
