• Have previous Bookkeeping/Financial experience?
• Willing to travel to local clients 4 days a week with the opportunity to work remotely the remaining day? If the answer is yes for all the above questions, then this role may be for you. Job Summary Our client provides specialist financial control, business advice to directors and owners, and integrated outsourced solutions to private companies. Our client is looking for a bookkeeper to join their growing business and assist the partners with their client portfolio. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced and diverse environment and will be trained in all aspects of work and company ethos. Whilst the business operates out of their Hertford office, the successful candidate will be required to work on client sites in Southbury, Enfield (likely moving to high Barnet later in 2022) and Bishops Stortford (approx 2 days per week each). The balance of time could be from home/office or flexible Responsibilities & Accountabilities The workload will include but is not limited too; - Payroll - Subcontractor processing - Purchase Ledger - Sales Ledger - CIS Returns - VAT Returns - HMRC surveys Required Skills and Qualifications - Exceptional Microsoft Office experience - Ability to pick up new software easily (current software is Evolution M) - Experience with construction clients & the tasks required - Attention to detail with a quality focus - Aptitude for numeracy and analysis - Comfortable working in a client facing role - Enthusiasm and assertiveness - Ability to work independently and as part of a strong team - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - both verbal & written - Willing to use initiative to resolve problems and identify improvements Benefits
• Any travel over and above mileage to the office will be reimbursed together with any train travel to London sites
• 25 days per year holiday + Bank Holidays
