Job Details

This Peterborough based Property and Housing business are looking for an experienced Payroll professional who is looking to develop their career and play a central role in the development of the business. The Payroll Manager will be responsible for the smooth running of the organisation payroll, alongside driving a number of projects that are upcoming within the business.

Description

The Payroll Manager will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the smooth processing of the organisations payroll
  • Responsible for developing the payroll function, both the team and processes
  • Answering any payroll related queries as needed
  • Ensuring and manual changes are calculated as needed ; SSP, SMP, P11d
  • Leading the upcoming projects within the department; including the implementation of a new payroll system
  • Ensuring all compliance is adhered to
  • Support the finance team with both internal and external audits as required

Profile

The successful candidate for the Payroll Manager will:

  • Be able to show strong experience within the Payroll function
  • Strong user of Excel alongside a good understanding of Payroll systems
  • A team player, confident in building strong working relationships across the organisation
  • Have a CIPP qualification will be advantageous
  • Previous experience within an Property and Housing organisation would be advantageous
